Smile with Confidence Again

Dentures are removable, artificial sets of teeth and gums that are worn to replace lost or missing teeth.

Today’s dentures are designed to enable the wear to enjoy a healthy life – smile, eat and talk whenever, where-ever they like.

They also give vital structure to the mouth and fill out the appearance of the face. Teeth enable facial features and muscles to stay as they’re supposed to; without teeth or dentures, facial muscles droop due to lack of support.

Previously, dentures were often said to be uncomfortable as they didn’t just fit the user. Today’s dentures, however, are made to be fitted over the natural gum line to restore both the function and appearance of real teeth.

They are typically all acrylic, although the base or plate can be made from metal. This means that the teeth are specially designed to match the shape and colour of your natural teeth – offering a seamless match that’s very difficult to see unless pointed out.

Dentures can come as a complete denture or partial denture:

Full Denture
A full denture is one that covers the entire upper or lower jaw as a substitute for all of the original teeth. These can be fixed using temporary denture cement, or via implants on the jaw.

Partial Denture
A partial denture simply fits into the spaces left by missing teeth and is attached to your natural teeth with either metal clasps or precision attachments

Quality dentures will renew your confidence, allowing you to enjoy a full, healthy diet and a worry-free smile.
